Custom Sizes

If you’d like something different to the size options offered in The Art Shop, you are most welcome to contact me with your requirements and I will send you a quote.

Send me the name of the image you are interested in, and your required measurement of the shortest side.

If you’re wanting something bigger than 900mm (shortest side), the normal shipping costs won’t apply, and I will quote on these specifically.

Print Materials

Standard Materials

Archival Canvas

South Africa orders – Van Gogh Archival (30 years) 360gsm with protective UV coating

International orders – Canson Infinity Museum Pro Canvas 385gsm

Giclee prints come with a standard 50mm border around the image so they can be stretched over a wooden frame, or framed by vacuum sealing them onto board and applying a frame around the image, whichever you choose.  It is not necessary to frame a canvas print under glass.

Archival Paper

South Africa orders – Epson Enhanced Matt Paper 190gsm

International orders – Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm

Prints on archival photographic paper or rag need to be mounted and framed under glass.  When using matt/mount board, I would advise choosing a wider mount rather than a narrower one – a narrow surround tends to make the image look small and cramped, while a larger space between the image and frame looks cleaner, more modern and enhances the image.

Custom Materials

If you have another material in mind, not on offer here, please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your needs and get back to you with a quote.

Shipping

Both prints and originals are shipped rolled in tubes.  This is the safest, and most cost-effective, way to ship both prints and original paintings, and, while you may request that your painting be shipped on the frame, or your print mounted, this option will have to be quoted on specifically, and all risks for damage or loss assumed by you, the buyer.

Standard Local Shipping

For South African customers, there are two options at check out, which apply to both prints and original art:

Courier delivery via The Courier Guy:   3-5 working days

Local Pickup:   Collect your order and save on shipping costs.

Standard International Shipping

For international customers the following options exist:

Prints:   I use a UK based printer for international print orders, so these are shipped directly from the UK, using First Class Royal Mail.  Work on 5 working days if you’re based in the UK and two weeks for the rest of the world.

Originals:   Couriered via DHL Express, this service takes approximately 7-10 working days to main centres internationally.

Guarantee

Should your print arrive damaged or not at all, please advise me immediately and provide me with whatever evidence you can to clarify the nature of the damage or non-arrival.  If it is found that I or my agents were at fault, your print will be replaced at no extra cost.

Manual Payment Methods

Paypal

You are most welcome to pay using PayPal – this can be done manually, but is not yet offered at an automated payment option at check out.

If you’d prefer to use Paypal, email me with the name of the image, the size and material you would like, and I will email a Paypal invoice to you which will enable you to use your credit card/Paypal balance to purchase.

Paypal does not accept South African Rand, so all Paypal invoices will be in USD at the current exchange rate to the SAR.
