Reference Photo credit:  The reference photograph for this painting was taken by Egypt Equine Aid, a charity organisation that works tirelessly to provide care and refuge for the donkeys and horses of Egypt.  The painting was named “Saving Conan”, as Conan’s case was one with a happy outcome.  Oftentimes, this is not the case, despite all the efforts by the vets, carers and supporters of the charity.  The digital file of this painting was donated to EEA for  unlimited use, to raise funds towards their work in Egypt.
